Repair

You do not say if it is the forward hatch or the cockpit hatch and the word plastic is a puzzle since both my hatches on my 1974 25 are fibreglass. If yours are indeed fibreglass you can effect the repairs yourself using the West System and your hatch should be better than new. The info on How to Make Repairs is available at http://www.westsystem.com/

Forward Hatch Replacement

On my '82 Hunter 25, the forward hatch glazing failed while under warranty, and the company, Gray, replaced it without any problem. I believe it would have cost me about $100 at the time, more now. You might search the site here (HOW) because I recall seeing that the company had been bought out in the past year or two. The original company name and address was empossed in the frame. If you have the broken pieces, try 3M 5200 for putting it back together again. It needs to set up for several days before putting any strain on it if you use this stuff.
