broken engine mount

I have replaced a port front engine mount in the last 6 months of a 1990 co catalina model I just bought. I suspect the mount was broken when I bought the boat but I missed it. When I installed the new mount, I re-aligned the engine. This weekend I checked and the same engine bracket is broken again. Has anyone had this problem? hello evander, i don't know about a 30, but if other engine mounts are also broken or lose, it can transfer the loads to the other mounts. try lifting the engin at the other mount to check for movement. john
