Broken Danforth Anchor

I'm pretty sure that this is no new anchor. So it's not likely to be a concern for Danforth now. Maybe years ago. I posted what happened with mine so that others could check their own, and I wondered if this kind of failure was common. The responding posters faith and experience with Danforth tells me this was likely an odd failure. The company I work for does robotic MIG welding of automotive seat frames. Poor fit up in a weld fixture of inconsistent components can easily cause a poor weld, or a good looking weld with poor penetration. Testing of finished products during each shift ensures quality. Our PPM is currently less than 5. Not perfect, but pretty good. So I wasn't concerned about re-welding this anchor. However, if you folks had experienced bad luck with a Danforth as well, then I probably would have bought a replacement of a different brand/design.
