Part of this experiment is to simulate being on a bigger boat with all of the features I expect to have.

maybe this link will work this is the water heater.
I want at least 1 shower a week whether I need it or not, I guess I am spoiled.

I will be able to dump the pot throw out the trash and replenish the water when needed. These are things I would normally do on a 30'+ boat anyway, right?

I expect to test my self in this not this boat.

The whole idea is to simulate being on a bigger boat with more room for a month of ICW travel or Island hopping, and see If I like it.

exercises in power management and food, water, fuel consumption need to be involved in my opinion.

That's like saying I want to learn how to drive a Ferrari in a VW bug.

It's the experience, not the crap you drag with you.

The stuff you need, fine. The stuff you want comes later.

We always kept the stuff on our smaller boats to a minimum. As the boats grew so did the creature comforts. Trying to stuff 4 pounds into a 1 pound bag is not going to be very comfortable.

We could cruise as you're intending, on our C22 for months. without all the big boat stuff, because it gets very claustrophobic in hurry with too much stuff. We had some more stuff on our C25. Now we have everything on our C34.

Would I carry everything on our C22 that we have on our C34? Never.

Try it, you'll see.
