Bristol 35.5 vs. Sabre 36

We've narrowed our search down to these two boats. We will use the boat for club racing and coastal cruising. We live in NC where the water is pretty thin, so the keel/cb is the only option. We would appreciate all opinions regarding the suitability of these two boats to our purpose. Thanks.

I have sailed on both models for cruises of a full week each and a bit more daysailing on the Sabre. Both will do well here. I think I favor the Bristol a bit mor in my mind, but it has been so long that at I can't really recall why.

What year Sabre? The newer 36(362) does not sail well to her rating with the wing keel. Good off the wind but does not point very well compared to other racer/cruisers.

I have not sailed the Bristol.
