Be sure to read the Photo Forum today for their 460 mile cruise through the Tortugas aboard their H-25.5. Nicely written and photographed... and that looks like one seaworthy boat!
What a great trip with beautiful pictures! And the last one gave me an answer to a question, "where to mount the solar panels?". Cannot wait for the next installment.
It is glad to see a fellow Hunter 25.5 Owner who is not afraid to take their boat where there dreams carry them. I am in the process of redoing a 1986 Hunter 25.5, and would love to see more pictures of how you have updated and customized your boat. Your past and current posts inspire me to work harder on completing my boat during those hot summer weekends.
Thoroughly enjoyed your photo tour (definitely not to be confused with watching somebody else's home movies). Did you run into any bad squalls while you were in blue water, and if so, did it make you nervous?
Thanks for the compliments, guys! ...for those rebuilding a 25.5, feel free to shoot me some questions about the "empty pocket" refurb... we can give you specs, close up photos of modifications, and also discuss the many failed experiments we had! lol
What a vacation, and nice job on the boat! Keep the photos coming.Would love to see you document all the accessories you added, especially the electronics.
