Has anyone installed a Selden bowsprit on a C30 standard rig. If so what kind of ring did you use at the stem?

I used the Selden ring. I made room for it by cutting a few inches off the forward leg of the bow pulpit,installing the stainless ring fitting, and having a SS welder weld the shortened leg to the ring. I did a lot more than that but essentially, that's what I did

So it sounds as if it wasn't so easy. Can you take a picture? I guess most importantly do you like the bowsprit?
