Good morning , looking for information of construction of bow sprit on my 1975 Irwin 10-4, when re bedding cleats and Hause pipe , when tighten nuts from below some water did squeeze out , but fiberglass did not collapse or crush at all , and it appears that wood in sprit is about 2 1/2inches thick and solid , any knowledge would be helpful , thanks Bret
