bow roller

my anchor chain got hung up on a pinacle sr14 to be exact when i tightened down the clutch on the windless the bow roller folded over and down hunter wont warranty this they tell me ,get this it is impossible for the bow roller to bend unless you crash your boat into something has anyone else out there heard of this.

I can understand..

...why Hunter wouldn't want to warranty it. I had my bow roller bent by a hit and run a few years back. I removed it and gave it to a local metal fabricator. He did an excellent job, looks good as new.
