BOW ROLLER
Steve: I installed one on my '85 H31 a number of years ago. To put it mildly, it was a bear to accomplish. I purchased a "Windline" roller (URM-1) for the DELTA anchor I planned to use. I looked into having it welded to the bow chainplate but discarded that (dumb) idea when I was told the heat generated would melt the hull! I finally mounted it with SS bolts to the port side of the chainplate. I drilled the holes in the roller and chainplate myself but would find a good shop to do it myself next time. The SS chainplate ate up my bits like they were made of butter. I fastened the roller to the chainplate with (I can't remember the brand name) "blind" bolts (similar to the butterfly ones you use to hang pictures on walls). I also put quite a bit of calk on the bottom of the roller and into the holes I'd drilled to prevent future leaks. All the work was definitely worth it. Good luck!
