Looks Great

How did you do it. Also I noticed the cleats on either side of the bow. How did you install these. Where do you sail around Des Moines? Jack Bristow H26 Discovery

Nice Job!!!

Dick, lots of questions. Did you have to off center the furler? Where did you get the roller and what size? How difficult is it to do? I'd like to see more pictures. Paul H S/V Linda Belle 95 H26

Roller is from WM, but I don't remember the numbers. I measured distance from edge of locker to the distance I needed to make sure that the anchor didn't hit the bow when being pulled up. That is the anchor length. Roller is off set from furler and the rear end of the bracket is cut off so that it fits square with the locker. I made a backing plate to fit the fore triangle. Two of the holes on the right side of the trough and plate are made to fit a cleat so that it is bolted through the bracket, bow,and backing plate. Time restricts me to sail on Saylorville Lake, just NW of DesMoines.

How did you mount your side cleats?

The bow roller looks great. Could you tell us how you mounted your side cleats? I can't believe the h26 only has one bow cleat! I was wondering how to get behind the bow wall to put a backing plate for a cleat? I noticed a single screw in the vee-berth forward wall. If I remove that wall will it allow me access to put a backing plate? Thanks!

Remove it

Don't remeber how many screws are in it, but the section comes out easily if you get all the cushions out of the way. The bow cleats were on my boat when I got it. I'll bet the backing plates are on them the same way I put the plate on the bow roller. You just have to be a little bit of a contortionist.
