Bow Rail Reinforcement

I have a 20 foot Proline cuddy walk around. I had the bow rail cut to remove the V so that I can access the boat easily/load and unload. (I bow into my boat slip). I need to reinforce the railing since it naturally has become unstable, but I still want to keep the V open.

The pic I've attached is with the V. I don't have a pic showing the bow rail V cut off. Essentially, the rail is cut just forward of the forward most horizontal supports.

I live in Moriches NY. I welcome suggestions, recommendations and/or if anyone knows of a shop that will be able to reinforce my railing.

I was going to suggest adding a couple of angled stanchions to brace the rails, but to be most effective, they would need to land in the middle of the anchor locker lid.

Perhaps a local welding (marine) shop could weld on a baseplate to the bottom of the 2 forward stanchions (It appears they are the typical modern powerboat setup of being attached to the deck with only a single bolt fro munder the deck (worked fine as long as the rail was continuous around the bow). Other option, install a pair of angled stanchion bases to those stanchions, might be hard to find ones with the correct angle though?

Hindsight is always 20/20, but in retrospect...... I think this modification needed a bit more engineering thought before cutting. Good Luck!
