I have an Oday 25, centerboard keel on a double axle trailer. Getting it to the harbor and back , the trailer starts to bounce like crazy about 22-30 MPH, then levels out at higher speeds, starting again when it hits 30 and below.

This bounce is fore and aft, and rocks the truck fore and aft.

Too much tongue weight? Not enough? Am open to ideas!

Finally got in Tuesday, found a slow leak in the bilge. Took care of that, went out today to check on it.... found that the wife hadn't tightened the lower shroud lines, and one had come off! - lost the turnbuckle. Hello marine store.

BUT, we are floating......

Yep, I agree not enough tongue weight. I think the general rule of thumb is at 10 % of total weight in tow. You will need to move the forward bow stop on the trailer forward. Maybe other elements of the trailer will need to be moved forward to allow the weight transfer.

If tongue weight doesn't fix your trailering issue, might want to check the side bunks. I had one slightly loose, just enough that the wind blowing on the boat at highway speed caused the boat to rock back just enough to make the load unstable. Tighten every nut and bolt on your trailer, never know what might have shaken loose.
