Has anyone been able to reach them? Their site says they are looking for new owners, but they provide a "contact us" page. No one has responded. I was looking for advice on cleaning up some pinstripe smears on my cushions. I saw an earlier post here that said they will provide instructions upon request. It turns out that suntan lotion and insect spray will smear them!!! I'm also looking for a safe way to remove mold/mildew stains.

there were some earlier posts on this site indicating that bottomsiders had gone out of business.

If you do manage to get your cushions clean again, tell your crew to put down a towel before they sit. The only other alternative is to disallow those lotions and repellents on the boat, and I know that idea won't fly...

They still have a website, but it's not encouraging. http://bottomsiders.com/
I've "dropped them a line" but haven't heard back. Still sailing no doubt.
Towels may be the answer for now.

GONE SAILING!

Simple green with a soft brush cleans them the best

Thanks Brian, I may try that. These are tough stains. Rather than destroy them with something too harsh, I hope to find a gentler cleaner that works.

FWIW, I had my dinghy set covered with a marine vinyl fabric. Years ago and holding up well. Tough use.
