Anyone have the Bottomsiders cockpit cushions? Did you get the 5 pc or 7 pc set? Do you like them?

I got the twelve set....

Hi NYC, Well, since I don't know your boat I can't suggest how many cushions you might want. I've always wanted Bottomsiders and ordered the complete set for our Hunter 380--that would be normally be eight cushions. But we also order two smaller ones that fit under the cockpit for our cats and two that fit the stern pushpit seats which I have yet to install. We bought these over five years ago and they are still in great shape. We leave them out int he cockpit most of the year. I would recommend either the gray or lighter colors as the dark ones can get pretty warm in the sun. Just a thought. Also, nice people to work with....

They are excellent!

We purchased a 7 piece set from SailboatOwners.com about 4 years ago and they are still like new. We love them. They are easy to keep clean and dry. We do put them below when we are not on the boat which is why we went with the 7 piece set - easier to store.

Do they stay put in the cockpit?

I know some of the other cushion sets have snaps that can be used. Has "Slip-Slidin" around been an issue?

Great Product

Ours are about 4 years old now and look near new. Fit is perfect, service through Catalina Owners . com was excellent. Will get another set for our next boat.

Get a light color

My boat came with dark blue cockpit cushions. They are very comfortable and have held up like new since I bought the boat (about 6 years now) but they get so hot in the direct sun light that most people can't walk on them with bare feet. Go with a light color. Much more comfy. Mike

good product

We got the 2 fitted for the main cockpit seats and did not go with the full set due to cost. We bought 4 small square stock cushions that we find very useful for back support and also for the rear seats. The small square ones are much more economical and versatile in that they can be moved anywhere - foredeck, rear, dock - wherever. We have the dark blue and although they do get hot in really warm weather - however in our climate for the most part the warmth is a good thing.
