BillyK, I have friends that swear by Petit #1792 prop spray. I put it on my boat this past year (still in the water) but we'll see how it held up over the winter when I haul in the spring. The next time you are in the yard, go check out the new Beneteau 40 (big grey winter cover with elliptical rudder) to see how their prop held up with the spray on it.

Are two zincs better than one? If the 1st doesn't do the job, doesn't more just increase drag? Speaking of increasing drag, has anyone installed a 3 blade prop on a C 30? I have the lame 5411 & would love to increase power, but not sure its worth the extra drag. Thanks for the input.

I wouldn't think there would be a measurable amount of additional drag. Using two Zinc's are better than one since if one were to fall off mid season you'd not be left unprotected. The two i pulled off at the end of the season this year were fairly shot and just about crumbled off the shaft.. If only one had been on, it most likely would have failed on me.
