Just got back from looking at my boat after the cover came off. The bottom was power washed last fall and the paint (an ablative Micron paint) looks pretty good. However, the two inches or so below the boot stripe are discolored green. Can I simply lightly sand this area to expose a fresh surface of the paint (there seems to be enough paint thickness), or should I repaint over this area?
