Bottom square footage of a 25.5?

I am trying to judge how much bottom paint to buy but I dont know the bottom square footage of my 25.5. Is there a spec sheet some where I can look this up or does any one know a formula I can use to calculate the square footage from the water line down to the bottom of the keel?thanks..Ted

Length x Width x .75....

will give you a good estimate. One gallon should give you about two coats.

On my full keel Hunter 25.5, I used less than a gallon of bottom paint. I put on more than one coat on the leading edge of the keel and rudder, to compensate for wear.
