have the marina set to sling my 23.5 this sat. so I can paint it , it has been painted beofre but in need again , Ive scraped away all the growth on it and dont see any blisters, now getting ready to palm sand prior to paint, what grit do I use when sanding ??? thanks for any input

How bad is it? I am surprised that your yard would allow you to use a palm sander. Normally a vacuum sander is required. You will need serious breathing and nose/ear protection. Better, if possible, to wet sand by hand.
ok the hull looks to have a darker coat under the green finish coat 80 % of the green is worn wondering if a simple scuff to get the new paint to stick, as for palm sanders I am doing this work at home so all I have to do at the yard is hang it wipe it off and paint.
