I am planning to take my boat to Florida and i wanted to get aome info and comments on what kinds of bottom paint work and dont work in florida waters...thank you...picarisque

Trinadad sr(slime resistant) works well in the warm waters that are full of growth down here.

As the previous writer stated: Pettit Trinidad. I have no experience with the SR.... I have always used the regular Trinidad and added tetracycline to it at a rate of 1 ounce to a gallon and have gotten better service out of it. I used to have a boat in Halifax Harbor Marina and the Trinidad did a great job for us. I have done the same on my 33' Morgan and my paint job is 16 months old and has no growth at all. Unless you intend to use the boat a great deal ....I wouldn't recommend an ablative paint down here.
