Good stuff I'm in Bayport for the summer and Patchogue for the winter. I was at the West Sayville town dock but I switched to a more sheltered marina. I grew up sailing out of Babylon. My aunts 25 is still there.

Sounds like your on Browns River or Homens creek....Browns River on the Bayport side is where I'll be till I bring Free Spirit to Bay Shore.....getting launched on the 25th

Estopa, The puck that can be installed on a swing keel is simply a pad that is epoxied to the keel above the pivot point on each side of the keel. It stops the keel slapping from side to side by eliminating the extra room between the keel and the keel housing.
Catalina Direct sells them fairly cheaply or they can be easly home made and epoxied. Look on their site and you can find pictures. It can be done on the trailer.
