bottom paint & bubblers

I have my boat in the water for the winter & I went down to check it out & notice that the "bubbler" is keeping the ice away nicely but its also creating a turbulence down the hull of the boat. My question is will this destroy my bottom paint just sitting there? It seems like to me that its like sailing the boat! I'm asking because the water is so cold that maybe the bottom paint is not as easy to "wear" away in 25-30o water.
Should I be worried?

I'd be more worried if the bubbler wasn't workng.

We used to keep a boat at Brewers in Cowesset which used bubblers and never noticed any effect on the ablative paint due to the turbulence created.

i would think there is a big difference in a 5000 boat pushing through the water wearing off the paint (sorta like the floodgates letting all the water out at once) and a bubbler blowing water past it sitting still (likened to filling up a lake with a water fountain)
