Bosworth Diverter valve-whew!

Hi Peggy, I have a 1985 Hunter 40. I replaced the porcelain and the hoses for the master stateroom head last year. I found it too difficult to connect the hose for the manual hand pump from the y valve. So, I left the hose off that side of the diverter valve. Now, I'm getting odors in the little cabinet under the nav station.That's why I changed everything last year! I still have the same problem. Help!Gene Kinney S/V Kin-Ship

You have two choices:

Remove the y-valve or put the hose back on it...the third choice is: live with the odor.
