Who's going, what are you going there to look for, anyone have brands in particular? Which booth do you want to go visit and which booth do you want to avoid like the plague? I've been there for the past 2 days setting up the Hunters.

...Sailing Specialties in Mystic,CT to me. I was there 2 summers ago and stayed there for two nights. We've been there a few times over the years, too. Had some minor work done on a rope clutch. A nice group of people. They have a good reputation for customer service. The place had a lot of transient Hunter cruisers, and plenty of Hunters for sale.

I especially like to look at what new innovative gear vendors will offer as well as the sailboats. I'm hoping to find some docklines 3/8" for my boat that could also be used for jacklines.

boats still had snow...
The boats have been sitting around the parking lot there for a couple of days, so they had some snow and ice on the. Boston got 2 inches of snow and ice yesterday morning, so all the boats that didn't make it inside before it had a nice covering on them. Boats were still being moved in today. We were removing the snow from the hunters after we had blocked them. Watch out, there is alot of ice there now around the convention center, parking would be tough. The plowing crew has their work cut out for them in the next 48 hours. The hotel that is connected to the convenction center had the best rates this week. like around a hundred twenty on priceline.com i think.

I'll be there on Saturday. We're coming down from Maine but need to go South to IKEA first and then to the show. I'll be wearing an orange Sugarloaf USA hat and be dragging the wife on and off the new boats...
