Boot Stripe and smile boys!

Getting ready this year I watched the guy next to me paint over boot stripe. I am on the fence . I saw the comments and have a season to watch for the ones that have painted over to see if I like the looks of it. New holding tank going in today. I am thinking about adding fresh water bladder tank in bow to keep us level. We seem to ride low in aft quite often. has anyone ever noticed this on a C-27?

Did he paint over his bottom paint?

He sanded off or down his boot stripe and painted over it with bottom paint.

Regarding weight distribution, have not noticed this on our C27 But it's a factor on the boat I crew on. Question.... Are you a heavy/ big person? Where are your crew/ passengers?

Yes I am 275lbs and we mostly have another couple with us. another 800lbs so total over 1000.lbs in and around boat.

There's your answer, it does matter where your weight is distributed. Can't really imagine that adding more weight would be a good thing, just play around with your distribution depending on the wind conditions.
