Need to replace battery in my h23.5. Since I have only occasional use for running and interior lights I was thinking of just carrying a self contained booster battery. My only concern was power for the bilge pump, but if I'm not on board, a regular battery could run down before anyone noticed it was working. Does anyone else use this for primary power?

The upside is the most of them have a charging unit built in.

Mine also has a cigarett lighter plug that I have used to charge my cell. I used mine to run the Mincota elect motor the other day for over an hour at 3/4 power and the battery was not fully charged. I usually take it as a backup on extended trips where I know I will have no shore power. Frank
