Sylvain, are there other 272's on Lake Abitibi?
I own a 272 which included an owners manual when I purchased it. There are pix showing the rigging, including the mainsheet tackle and the boom vang. I have made modifications to lead the sheets and lines back to the cockpit, but the attachment point for the boom vang is still on a shackle at the base of the mast. The original vang had a self-contained cam cleat to secure or release the vang. The main sheet is lead through a swivel block behind the mast after it is attached at two points on the underside of the boom. It is then lead to the starboard side of the cabintop through a line organizer back through a line clutch to a winch. If noone else sends you pix to help you figure out how to set up the lines, let me know and I will fax you the pages you need from the manual. That will be next week when I get back to my job where we have a fax.Meanwhile, if you have further questions, or just want to gab about the 272, you can e-mail me at tomclaud@wcnet.org.Tom
