Getting a late start this year.....anyway the pin that holds the boom to the mast on my '85 28.5 has gone missing. Any ideas where to find a replacement? I'd really like to go sailing!
mcmaster.com carries EVERYTHING, at significantly lower prices than a marine store. It's an industrial supply house. If you kow what it is you need, they have it.
You might go on the hunter 28.5 web site and check for the links to Kenyon and/or Isomat spars; all the parts are listed: www.huntertwentyeightfive.com For an emergency repair, a 1/4x20 x at least 2" long stainless steel bolt with an aircraft nut and a couple nylon washers from Lowe's or Home Depot can hold it together
