I need the round discs (I do not know the name) to facilitate the boom to mast attachment. The old ones are worn out. I would appreciate help on describing and locating these parts. Thanks Dean dfgustafson@centurytel.net

I'll Take a Guess

Kinda vague description. Could you be describing the end plate on the boom to which the gooseneck is attached (mast to boom)? If so I would contact rigrite (www.rigrite.com). They have a lot of the original parts for Kenyon, Pearson and other spars. If you can't spot it in their online parts call them and they will assist you. Good luck. Don

Dean: I also need to replace my "Boom to Mast Attachment" on an O'Day 28. I usually think of this as the gooseneck, but any research I've done does not show parts that are remotely close to the odd rig that O'Day cursed us with. A short term solution might be to wrape wire around it to ensure it doesn't release. ALso, I've heard that there is an O'Day parts store in the Fall River MA area (original home of O'Day) that may have it. I'm told it's DNR Enterprises, but I haven't found it on the web yet. If you find a solution, please drop me an email, so I can also replace my parts. Hugh MacKenzie
