Either a Boom Kicker or a ridgid vang. If your vang is good then Boom Kicker is cheaper. If you need to replace your vang then Garhauer make a excellent ridgid vang that will cost about the same as a Boom Kicker and a new soft vang. My main has a large roach and getting rid of the topping lift was a huge improvement. (I have a Boom Kicker ).

I installed a Boomkicker on a C 270 I had several years ago. It worked well and was easy to install. I did however leave my topping lift on (belts plus suspenders). If memory serves me, I bought it from this site.
