Boom Gallows

I did a search for this on the Yahoo list but came up with a blank.
Has anyone installed a boom gallows on their Vega? I'm thinking of
doing this, and am wondering what other people have done.

Not actually boom gallows but the Tern has a grab rail fixed to
the top-after part of the dodger frame. It extends about 6 ins. above
the frame. The boom will rest on it when I release the topping lift,
and can be easily secured there. The frame is not standard but
somewhat taller than the original, and is constructed of 7/8'
stainless tubing. The grab rail is great when moving onto the side
deck as well.
