Hunter 28 Kemah
Hello,

I am in need of information on a Hunter 28 circa 1990:

During a recent sail, had a jibe, and the boom became detached from the Mast, and it appears that the boom bracket has a hole, top and bottom, and the two pieces that rivet to the mast, have pins. The problem is, the bottom part from the boom is somewhere in the bay (probably at the bottom) as it became airborne during the jibe. I have attached two photos, showing the mast number, and the area of concern.

Can anyone tell me where to obtain this part?

Thank You Mast 1.jpg

I _think_ we can get that for you, but we'll need more photos of all sides of the part as well as measurements. There are four variations of the gooseneck casting.

You can send all that here.

Thank you, Mr, Herring. I have read many of your posts and articles over the years, and found them to be accurate and informative!

I will get more pictures, and if you could elaborate on the measurements that you need, I will be sure to get them.

Thank You
