Filling the pits
Glen,I was experiencing the same problem with my 77 Cal.First clean the fiber glass well, with rubbibg compound or whatever it takes to get it clean. Then apply Holloway House Quick Shine, available at your local super market in the floor care section. Just wipe it on with a paper towel and let it dry for a few minutes and apply another coat. It will take 4-5 coats to get the look you want. You do not wipe it off, just let it dry. Just try a spot about one foot square as a test. You will see a smiling face reflected back at you. I then put a coat of Brite Shine over it (blue bottle). The product is for both vinyl and wood floors and will make your boat look like new. Just make sure you clean it really well first because it will seal in the dirt. Costs about $5.Works great on interior wood also.I have used this product for two years now. My dock mates thought I had the boat painted.John
