Bolt for mid-boom

Ow have you'all set up the mid-boom sheeting? I'm looking at adding a bolt with end caps for nots with locktite, and webbing instead of stainless to take the upper block.

Any thoughts?

I purchased a six legged bale and drilled and threaded using 10/24 bolts. I think this spreads the load and doesn't make as big a hole in the boom. The bale has an attachment point for the shackle. check around your marina area and maybe someone else had done this. Sorry, no pics
