Well it has been a long summer but the work keeps going
How many of us have put countless hours into what we love to do .
Lets all let each other know of all the hard work this year and list our accomplishment.
Hear are mine
4 x 6 volt batteries
fridge
propane stove
new toilet
winter cover
just order new Cruising Concepts windows
redoing deck with new non slip and new paint
new furler
redid rear stay
just installing new holding tank with maserator

Am I doing to much to fast ? or do we all work so hard on making what we love so beautiful

My boat has always been in better shape that my yard. If it satisfies you and your not denying your family obligations then it's a good thing. I figure about an hour of maintenance for every hour of sailing. Fair Winds and full sails...

Yup, maintenance and enhancements. NEVER work. :)

Nice list, good luck, should be a much better vessel by the time you're done.

Woops, it's a boat, never done...

Working on my little boat relaxes me (unless I get aggrivated with it) and gives me a great sense of accomplishment. I am getting my Montgomery 17 ready for a three week cruise in the Florida Keys, I will be trailering her down there.

Done-
Free up daggerboard
Paint daggerboard
Paint bottom
Refinish Teak

To-Do-
Install boarding ladder
Install VHF
Install tiller pilot
Install GPS
Install Solar Panel
Prep new outboard
Install LED interior and nav lights

Pretty much everything has been purchased, all of the big stuff at least. Now I just have to get it all installed and my little vessel will be ready for some adventure!
