I didn't even read all the response post to the main topic (most of them) but have to say ANY and ALL fee's that a company is going to charge should be on one of the MAIN pages. I should not have to spend 30 minutes searching a web site for some obscure "Fine Print" thats crap. Buyer beware, I know.

If I could get a photo like the first one of yours of my boat I would certainly pay $125 for a large version. The others are not so special IMHO.

Your 35 looks to be beautiful condition and you should be proud of her.

Get a lawyer

I guarantee a lawyer will straighten out this mess. For a small fee of several hundred dollars I almost guarantee you will get your 25 bucks back.
The best way to solve boatpix problems is to moon them when they fly over your boat. I saw someone moon the channel 8 news helicopter somewhere near New Haven once. Not sure it made the news, but it sure made the sailor mad when the chopper rotor wash started screwing up his sailing.

Boatpix Fee Follow Up

I received an e-mail from them today. It looks like I missed the fee disclosure even though I thought I had been thorough in looking over the information before ordering. Anyhow, this is all I could ask for... reasonable disclosure.

"Thank you for sending the ck for the $25.00 it’s on our web but it’s on page 2 when you place your order on the web site you hit submit it takes you to page 2 it’s under terms and conditions it states A fee of $25.00 will be charged to cover our cost of shipping and handling your photographs.

I can fax you the front & back of our letter that we sent to you it’s on the back 1st paragraph last sentence.

We are going to put it on the FAQ we are finding so many customer don’t click on Terms and conditions on page 2 of the on line form."

By that, I infer they don't indicate any fee until AFTER you place the order ("it’s on our web but it’s on page 2 when you place your order").

You are a better man than Ifor not fighting that Rick
