Boat Weight

Boat weight:

Question displacement weight and ballast weight, are they combined to get the totla weight of the boat? Or, is the displacement weight the total weight of the boat? thanks.

Displacement weight is the total weight of the boat and includes the ballast. Ballast weight is the weight of the material used as "Ballast" within the keel or attached to the bottom of the boat thus making the keel.
