Boat Transportation

We are moving our Catalina 36 from the Williamsburg Va area to Charleston, SC because of Isabel and storm damage to the ICW,we are thinking land transportation might be the best way to go. Does anyone have any recommendations on companies to use and any advice?

Rick can carry up to around 40', I think. The pricing will depend on convenience, (if he has a load coming in your direction)...and if it is off-season or not. Also, check the archives...

If you have the time..

take it by water. This trip will take you through some of the most beautiful parts of the ICW, and not that long of a trip, depending on how much distance you make each day.Heck, I'll take your boat down for you. It's a great trip.
