Not being on the cutting edge of technology and having no idea what it is you are talking about. It sounds like deodorant (pit grease) for a boat. Am I correct?
And, no, I don't have any. Just that musty old boat smell abooard mine.

Somebody was working on this and trying to sell it in the early '90's. It didn't work then and I rather doubt that it works now. Do your through the hull depth sounders keep a patch outside the hull clean?

I lived in the woods while I was in college. We had a patio that we had our weight equipment on. There were alot of mosquitos and other bugs. I bought one of those ultra sonic bug repellers. One day I went out there and there was a giant praying mantis sitting on top of it. I guess he thought it was a good place to find some other bugs to eat.

I get the feeling this works about as well as the ultrasonic pest repellers do... they're good at putting money in the pockets of the manufacturer, but little else.

The post by Ross reminded me of a device I helped someone install decades ago, it was 2 electrodes the size of a fist that were installed thru hull and wired to a black box. It was powered by 110 VAC at the dock and I think it was supposed to keep the hull clean. This was about the time they were outlawing the use of bleach in a "boat bath" which DID work but was a little tough on the local wildlife.
