I'm in need of new speaker covers for a Hunter 35.5 The covers are 6 1/2 by 6 1/2 with rounded top and bottom. Does any one have a source for geting new ones?

If the speaker covers are the white ones with a perforated plastic grille, and they are made by Seaworthy, they are probably not available any longer. I have Seaworthy model SEA-4612BW, they are 6 3/8" fairly square with rounded corners, and the mounting holes are 4 5/8" apart. The replacement covers were available from Hunter, but not for the last 18 months. The Seaworthy company has discontinued that model and covers are not available. I am looking at replacing the speakers just because the grilles are broken. The speaker itself is fine. I'm looking at eBay for reasonably priced replacements. Anyone have a good solution?

The PO of our first boat, an H28, made new...
covers from one half inch marine grade plywood because some of the louvers on the original covers were broken. Worked just fine and looked nice once they were stained and varnished. Terry
