I recently purchased an 88 Cat 30 and am being relocated by my company far away from the ocean. Has anyone had experiences in selling a boat? Is it better to sell it through a broker or by yourself? The boat is currently documented and in the water. Thanks for any advice. TH

Are you sure about this?

The thought of moving far, far away from the ocean gives me the creeps. Roc

How long before you leave?

I'd think about trying to sell it before you leave. Post it at marinas, put it in the paper, tell all your friends, put a sign on it. In the unlikely event it doesn't sell right away, and you have to move, THEN list it with a broker. Post '88 C30s usually sell VERY quickly - there's a huge market for them. Good luck - sorry you have to move so far from the ocean! LaDonna

I'm looking for a Catalina 30

I'm currently looking for a clean Catalina 30 1985 or newer. Please contact me at hshirk@ebm.com or call me at home.860-749-9778 with the information on how the boat is set up and what equipment is available. Also please let me know what you are looking for price wise and where the boat is located. I live in northern CT. so I would need to set up a appointment with you.
