Boat restoration Mass Bay area

Pearson 26W Marblehead
I was contemplating buying a newer boat. From what Ive seen todays boats are too light for my taste. I have decided instead to restore my 1975 Pearson 26w. I have found two restoration companies. Metan Marine Restorations in Halifax MA & Wilco Marine in Newbury
MA. Has anyone had any experience with either of these. Any comments would be appreciated

Why not hire Compass Marine(Mainesail) to do the work. He is much better than anyone I have ever dealt with in the marine industry.

As for heavier built newer boats, check out the Calibers.
