Hey all, In the process of sanding my 20' Oday, it was painted(top) at least once, I am sanding into two layers of paint, outer then to the primer, goes to a fine dust almost looks like a latex paint. The question is, would anyone paint their top and hull with Dupont Imron?

I'm also in the process of sanding my O'Day 27 decks and cockpit. It was previously painted with "Briteside" but I want something better (and longer lasting). I'm also seriously looking at Dupont Imron. Has anyone painted Imron over Briteside? What primer would you use? How would your prep the textured surface (it still has fairly nice texture) to keep the original texture? Thanks, Jim

I am getting ready to start my painting project on my 1980 22' and I am going with Perfection. It's a two part but with much more durability and really fine finish. It holds up well in the Florida weather.
