Boat Name Plaques?

Anyone know if there is a place that does good boat name plaques?

I bought a 1978 Hunter 30 a few months back. She was quite a mess and really little more than a mooring buoy. The previous owner admitted that she'd only been sunk "umm...maybe...only a few times..." I've torn out and replaced or rebuilt everything and she'll be back in the water in a few weeks once the new port lights and bottom paint are done. I'm working on coming up with a name for her since she has a blank transom at the moment. I love the way the some boats have carved wooden name plaques; the Formosas for example.

Has anyone found a place on the internet to order that sort of thing? I've searched on here and googled it but maybe I'm not using the right keywords because I haven't found anything close really.

Around here we would just seek out a local craftsman(craftperson?). We are in Amish country here but you should be able to find that kind of art where you are. I have even seen it in mall kiosks.

I may be able to help. I used to own a sign shop and still do some freelance design work for a shop here in Minneapolis. I've done some pretty cool carved Federal Documentation #'s and some interesting scroll work for a dinghy bowsprit. I'll take some photos tomorrow of the bowsprit and I'll be up at the boat next weekend and can get a photo of the carved Doc. #'s if you're interested. The transom would be a fun project.
