A while back someone wrote in because his boat took on water under power and it was not the stuffing box. Receintly I had the same problem. The cockpit drain hose got loose. Under power the cockpit drain goes underwater and the backwash from the prop is forced into the hose and thus into the bilge. The cockpit drained fine the only problem was under power.
