Boat In Question

I have very little to go on because the sailboat was leaving through our channel in Lake Ontario.

It was fractional rigged. It had no standing rigging (no wires). It had an in-boom mainsail. No topping lift.
It wasn't bigger than 35 feet. Looked like a 90's boat.

Anybody have a clue what I was seeing?

Unfortunately I didn't have my phone with me. So no picture.
But I think you hit the nail on the head. Took a look at some Freedom pics and that looks like the boat but with an inboom furling.

That looks to new. The Freedom looks closer to what I saw. I like the idea of no standing rigging. It looks like Beneteau is going that way with their new wing design.(not in production yet)
