Just for fun. What is this boat I drive past occasionally.

Looks for all the world like a Del Rey 24, but I didn't think they migrated that far.

Pretty sure it's a luger southwind 21,

Lugers must have been pretty popular boats, while looking at boats last summer I found about a dozen different Lugers from 16 to 26ft within a two hour drive.

edit: look at the line drawings, they show the same boat. Photo on the luger site shows a boat with different ports.

I am not sure, but I think Kendall is correct it is a Lugar 21. It was offered, as I recall, in a kit form with the hull delivered in two halves. In the early 70s I was dreaming about owning a cruising boat and looked hard at anything i thought I might be able to someday afford. At that point in my life, even a couple of thousand bucks was a stretch.

That was a new one for me. I have never heard of that boat so I did a search. Here it is.
