Hello, am asking some advice from any knowledgable Beneteau owners or past owners. I am selling a 35Jeanneau and am looking at buying a 393 or 411, (2002). Could anyone give me feedback, help on choosing between these? Thanks, Danny

Thanks for replying, yes I am going to test sail before I purchase, trying to amass some opinions from some owners who have ex- perience with these vessels. I'm sure there are some private yachts out there somewhere but I've been browsing all over the Virgin Islands, St. Martin and haven't found much. Moorings and Sunsail have good maint. schedules and good prices for what I'm interested in right now. Any ideas for other avenues would be appreciated. Thank you, Danny

393 Is Superior
I found the layout of the saloon and cabins on the two cabin 393 worked much better for us. Nothing to knock the 411 or 423, just seemed like I was getting less for more money.

Agree with the 393
In upgrading from a B311, I had an opportunity to compare a 393 and 411 side by side. The 411 was a tricked out 411 that included all the bells and whistles that could be added. At the end of the day, the interior layout, light, and sailing performance of the 393 was a clear choice. By the time I added a few options to give the same options as the 411, there was minimal cost differential. With cost thus playing no role, the 393 still won out. Two years into the new 393, I have never looked back on that decision.
