Catalina 27 Guilford, CT
Just bought a 1984 Catalina 27 and am looking to learn as much as possible about how she was constructed; is the deck balsa cored and what thickness, deck to hull joint is inner lip flange, outer lip, or bulwark flange, keel bolt lengths, rudder construction, etc. Anyone have a source for such information? thanks

I would Join the Catalina 27 Association

and check out the Catalina 27 website. When you join the assoiation you will get a quarterly magazine called "Mainsheet"with "Tech Notes" on your boat and all the catalina's . Very informative and well worth the small cost. Go to catalina27.org http://www.catalina27.org/
