Boat Babe on Strike!

This winter is damn long..................good thing the boat show and boat babes will decorate January. I told the admiral that 2 piece swimsuits for her are required safety gear this year for my mental health. (Have to believe warmer weather will happen again in the NW)
The venerable old girl is still on the hard... but WOW, she is looking spectacular. I will try to get a log of the refit put together once she splashes, but in the meantime, I'll throw up a few photos of some of it in process... in no particular order.

Wow, that is what appears to be a lot of power requirements. How do you supply that many amps?
Power Requirements for EP
Empty Pocket only has an outboard Honda motor, which doesn't really provide much power ... and we do not carry a generator.
...so appropriately, most of our power is generated from our Solar Stik. We do have two supplemental solar panels on deck that are deployed as necessary to keep up with the demand.
The real key to electrical independence is to purchase the most efficient appliances and LED lighting available, which affords you the "extra" capabilities like we have. We have been re-building Empty Pocket for over a year... installing the most power-savvy system I could design.
As we have done in the past, we will be entirely independent while away from the dock. In fact, (dare I say it?) we will be more autonomous than most boats twice her size... except for the amount of canned food we can carry (Have I mentioned that Steph is great at catching fish?)...

Can you fit a small brewery or distillery in there, too? Man does not exist on canned goods and fresh fish alone!

I am going to have to look into Solar Stik as a future upgrade. The restoration of YOT really pushed the budget. Thanks for the info. Right now I'm set up for operation from 2 dual purpose batteries with the Atomic 4 as the only recharge system. All I've got to power is running and cabin lights. Refrigeration would be nice though. By the way Empty Pocket is looking great.
